Matthew Hess

As a Credit Analyst at FarmLink, Matthew helps the loan team by analyzing financial data to build a clear picture of new clients, working closely with farmers and fishers to understand their businesses and aspirations. He is currently earning an MBA from UC Davis and an MS from Moss Landing Marine Laboratories, bringing a diverse background in marine science, solar, and agriculture.

Passionate about operational excellence and finance, Matthew values FarmLink’s mission to address the biggest challenges in fishing and agriculture—industries essential to our well-being yet often overlooked. Outside of work, he loves spending time outdoors and considers fatherhood his greatest joy.
