Ali Robinson
Ali has 15+ years of professional experience leveraging non-profit initiatives, multi-stakeholder collaborations, and catalyzing finance and technical assistance programs, to intentionally and effectively improve equitable, adaptive, and resilient social and environmental outcomes of commercial activities.
Ali began her work managing education and conference programs for the U.S. Green Building Council- Northern California Chapter; grew and managed ag financing and TA programs for California FarmLink; provided strategy, leadership, committee facilitation, communications, and whitepaper publication consulting services for several non-profits including Green Village Initiative and Northeast Organic Farming Association; and most recently directed a multi-million dollar affordable-housing lending department for the Housing Development Fund in CT.
Ali is currently a Senior Manager for RSF Social Finance, wherein she deploys integrated capital to social enterprises. In this role, Ali conducts business development activities; identifies applicants; conducts initial impact assessment/due diligence; structures and negotiates term sheet; ensures an efficient underwriting, approval, and closing process; manages borrower relationships throughout the U.S. and across multiple industries; and collaborates interdepartmentally across RSF, and with several external partners and stakeholders.
Ali earned a B.A. degree in Political Science/Latin American Studies from the University of Vermont, and an MBA in Sustainable Solutions from Presidio Graduate School. She previously volunteered on the leadership steering committee of the CDFI Women’s network, and engages in ongoing professional development education, volunteer, and consulting activities.
Ali’s professional journey was largely influenced by her early work with FarmLink, and she has continued to engage with the organization over the years, most recently volunteering on the loan committee. She is energized by the opportunity to further support FarmLink as a board member, and is excited to see FarmLink continue to deploy impactful and essential programs and resources to the farmers, ranchers, and others growing and providing clean and ethical food for California and beyond.
