Five-acre, producing, certified organic Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard available for lease outside of Upper Lake, five minutes from Highway 20 in a beautiful little valley. The vineyard produced almost 30 tons last year and averages 25-30 tons. There is adequate water and all the needed equipment is available. We are willing to provide training, as needed, but we are looking to retire from the vineyard business. There is additional acreage (~4 of which can be irrigated) that could be put back into production for veggies or a grain crop. A studio on the property is currently available for housing.
The vineyard is on a 20 acre parcel with two houses, a barn and a large garage, as well as two double-wide mobiles and two studios. We live in one of the houses and intend to stay here for the long term. Down the road a bit, we are open to leasing more acreage and setting up an agreement for an option to purchase. Our children are not farmers and we would like to see the farm continue.
