“Linking Season” for vegetable, fruit and herb farmers is from October 1 through November 30 and February 1 through May 30.  Linking season for livestock ranchers is year round. We look forward to working with you!

1.    Fill out the Aspiring Farmer Questionnaire .  It is important to include the best way to get in touch with you. There is a $20.00 processing fee that once submitted will activate you as an aspiring farmer in our data base. If you cannot afford the fee, please call us to request a waiver.

2.    Look at the land listings on our website and note the properties you are most interested in perusing. When you talk to your Regional Program Coordinator at your appointment tell them the property numbers.

3.    Call your Regional Program Coordinator to set up an appointment to talk about land opportunities or other services.  Contact your Regional Coordinator prior to Linking Season to be put on the list of "Farmers Actively Looking for Land".  How to find your Regional Program Coordinator:

4.    Attend tours! Tours are a great way to see if the property is right for you and your business. It’s a chance to meet with landowners and get a better sense of the land available for lease.

5.    If you find a property that suits you (through FarmLink or other avenues), your Regional Coordinator can help you get a secure lease for your new land.
